She was wearing a black and white dress with geometric, strappy sandals and a bow clip.Trickle across would best apply to this kind of trend. I think it's in the Peak or Early majority stage since dresses like these become more mainstream and can be bought in various stores.
Teenagers or yuppies who are practical but still love to dress up would likely buy this kind of outfit. It's simple and trendy at the same time. It can also be worn in any given day with just the perfect shoes and accessories.
