Given an assignment by Ms.Nela to find someone random that can be trendy and fashionable, I together with Nicole and Kristine decided to go trendspotting outside of Makati city. There can be no other place to spot a fashionista in broad daylight other than Shangri-la Plaza with its upscale designer boutiques.
The history of Floral can be dated back to the Mid 1800's. It would rise and wade from time to time, a clear signal that it is indeed a trend. Lately, it sparked again in the 1990's and did rose more from 2006. As you notice, what she did was to mix both the variety of her top and shoes,being feminine and masculine respectively, in a way that both complements each other. Her lose top blended well with her bondage skirt that gave her a nice appeal.
From my perspective, the floral and military trend is at its peak because as I see it, everyone is wearing it from all classes of society, whether it be the upscale to the low-key.
I have also seen in television some celebrities sporting military styles which shows that it is not only for real military men. I would say that all ages of women from your friend to grandmothers would really appreciate having floral clothing. However, for the military outfits, limited consumers might be considering this because of its provocative look.
I believe this trends would evolve through time. <3
We checked out Mango, Warehouse, and the ever famous Zara. But my luck turned out when we got to the Ramp and I found this girl who was quite corky for your normal or usual shopping clothes.
She was wearing a loose floral top paired with a bandage black skirt and an army boots. On her shoulder was a black Chanel bag that definitely matches her outfit and style. I then approached her and quickly ask for her picture. She felt awkward at first, but she then did not hesitate afterwards.
